A New Acronym
Dozens of companies and organizations on the Internet use the name "Adnet," so if you do a web search for ADNet, you may not find our website easily. Ad blocker software assumes we are an advertising agency and may keep our website from functioning properly on your browser. These are two reasons we have begun to replace the short name ADNet with Anabaptist Disabilities Network and to use ADN when we need an acronym. You can expect to see all of these forms in our materials for a while as we make the transition.
Redesigned accessibility website
The Congregational Accessibility Network has launched a redesigned website. The site includes a survey that helps a congregation to assess how well it is doing at welcoming and including people with diverse disabilities. Visit www.canaccess.org. Read an introduction to CAN on our blog, written by Paul Leichty.
