Opening paragraph
Everyone has gifts to share! Every summer, the Church of the Brethren provides opportunities for people to serve, worship, and have fun at workcamps. We Are Able Workcamp, July 10-13, 2016, New Windsor, Maryland, is a service opportunity for youth and young adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. They will be joined by young adults without disabilities who will serve as assistants.

Amanda McLearn-Montz is the 2016 Assistant Workcamp Coordinator for the Church of the Brethren.

At this workcamp, participants and assistants serve together at the Brethren Service Center, in New Windsor, Maryland. They volunteer in the Material Resources warehouse and package fair trade products for Serrv. They also have time for fun and fellowship together on recreational outings. Potential outings include visiting a nature center, attending a movie or concert, visiting a Maryland state park, and bowling.

During the week, friendships and memories are made. The week gives everyone the opportunity to share their gifts, and both participants and assistants grow and learn from their time serving together. We hope that you will join us for this meaningful and fun experience in July!

Participants from beyond the Church of the Brethren are welcome.
Register for this workcamp. Registration closes April 1, 2016.
