Michigan Avenue Mennonite Church received an accessibility grant from Indiana Michigan Conference. According to pastor Scott Wilson, the funds allowed the Pigeon, Michigan congregation to upgrade sound equipment by purchasing a CD/tape recorder and a CD duplicator. The upgrade facilitates the recording of church services in order to make them available to those who are unable to attend due to significant illness or disability. The new equipment allows the congregation to include those who might otherwise be excluded from worship.
