ADN's Statement

Though vaccinations for Covid-19 have decreased the number and severity of cases in recent months, people with disabilities and compromised immune systems still suffer great risk of complication due to contracting the virus. Additionally, considerations from the 2020-2022 coronavirus pandemic can be applied to other viruses, such as the influenza virus, to provide greater safety to those among us who are immunocompromised and disabled.
We encourage you to thoughtfully consider the ways that those with disabilities and compromised immune systems remain excluded from your community and take action steps to provide safe spaces during peak Covid-19 and flu rates.
