ADNet Staff Change
In October 2014, Timothy Burkholder, ADNet Executive Director announced plans for full retirement at the end of the year. The ADNet board of directors extends appreciation for his leadership and work as an advocate for persons and families who are coping with disabilities, and for more complete inclusion of all disabilities in congregational life.
Tim began as Executive Director in February of 2013. During his time in this administrative role, he provided an energetic and impassioned commitment to help ADNet fulfill our mission.
Tim shared responsibilities with ADNet Program Director, Christine Guth. Together they collaborated to develop print resources such as this newsletter, online information, workshops and seminars, and other resources that ADNet makes available to churches, families, and individuals who are facing the challenges of living with disability.
We look forward to Tim’s continuing support as an ADNet volunteer with a focus on facilitating the writing and publication of a companion book of stories to Supportive Care in the Congregation.
The ADNet Board offers our gratitude for Tim’s service given to ADNet’s ministry and mission. ADNet offers a sincere desire for Tim and Sharon to enjoy God’s blessings in all future endeavors of retirement.
Christine Guth continues in her role as program director. The search for a new administrative director for ADNet is underway.
